WORKSHOPS
UV Innovations™ conducts training workshops to promote accurate photographic documentation of UV-visible fluorescence using the Target-UV™.
Workshops are held for 1 to 3 days depending on the number of participants and the depth of topics covered. If you are interested in attending or hosting a workshop, please contact us. Sign up for our newsletter below to receive information on upcoming workshops.
Example Summary of Workshop:
The Workshop provides an introduction to the principles and use of the Target-UV™ system for standardization of UV-Visible documentation. Through lecture, demonstration, and applied practice, participants learn an imaging workflow specific to the Target-UV™ including white balance, intensity, image capture and post processing. Alternate approaches are discussed, with opportunity for input and questions from participants. Background information on radiation sources, filtration, and other issues specific to UV-Visible documentation are covered.
Topics covered:
-
Safety
-
Use of UV-visible fluorescence in conservation documentation
-
Variables in UV-visible fluorescence documentation (filters, radiation sources, cameras)
-
Development and testing of the Target-UV™
-
The role of standardization
-
Limitations of the Target-UV™
-
Standardized workflow for DSLRs
-
Post-processing approaches and variables
-
